Canadian scientists have established: the more often people have sex, the lower the risk for their heirs of various genetic mutations. It turns out that the mixture of genetic material significantly reduces the development of diseases.

Scientists have identified segments in the human genome that are not subject to recombination and potentially contain mutations that are dangerous for people and are fraught with serious genetic abnormalities. While the chromosome recombination does not occur, the “bad” segments accumulate an increasing number of mutations.

However, during intercourse, these mutations are discarded. However, this process is very long. According to scientists, more than one generation can go to the final purification of the genome.
