All types of facial massage are performed in several zones:

For some reason, often during a face massage, people forget about the neck, although it is this part of our body that first of all shows age. The face massage in the neck area starts from the bottom up from the fossa to the chin and returns down along the line running from the ears.

Basics of classic facial massage

Before you massage the face, choose the technique or type of exposure, you should determine which skin problem areas we want to correct.

Most of all we care about:

• wrinkles;

• puffiness;

• skin laxity or loss of tone;

• complexion.

Starting any manipulations, you should shortly cut the nails. If you have learned to masterly handle long finger decorations, then be especially careful not to get hurt.

It is necessary to apply oil on the skin when carrying out any manipulations. To do this, you can choose a favorite cream or vegetable oil, whether it be olive, coconut or any child.

Performing a classic facial massage that perfectly copes with all the problems listed above in the complex, we go 3 - 4 times along the main lines each technique, starting with the forehead and ending with the chin.

The basis of the classic massage is the use of four main techniques.

- Stroking performed with finger pads, the reception corresponds to its name, we gently carry out soft hand movements on the skin of the face with straight lines, circular or zigzag movements.

- Trituration provide blood flow to the skin vessels of the face, prepare the muscles for a deeper study. This technique is performed on the face with the index and middle finger. You can imitate stroking, as if sketching the front surface with small strokes, as well as “draw” curls, gently moving along the main massage lines. By the end of rubbing, the skin of the face becomes warm and supple. Do not rub the eye area.

- Kneading can be attributed to the most important reception, which most of all contributes to increased blood flow. The index or middle fingers, as you prefer, we put on the point at the beginning of the massage line and do the pressing-twisting movement for 2 - 3 seconds, release and move 1.0 - 1.5 cm further. So we work on each area, finishing kneading with stroking.

At the beginning of the course of massage, painful sensations may occur, this is normal, after 3–5 sessions they will disappear.

We do not stretch the skin of the neck.

- Vibration means patting, in this case, for all zones, a “finger shower” would be ideal when we quickly tap all the fingers along the massage lines from the bottom up and back, imitating raindrops. We also hit the cheeks with quick movements of the back side of the brushes on the chin, as if tamping with sagging skin, while the lips relax as much as possible.

We finish the classic massage with a general stroking.

Massaging the face with its regular performance will give a visible result in 2 to 3 days, the session of each course lasts only 10 to 12 minutes, the timing does not matter, but you should take a break, because the skin is getting used to the massage.

Why not try the Chinese method

Ideal for toning and good color of the skin will be a Chinese facial massage, which will relieve swelling. In parallel, the state of the whole organism will improve, the desire to create, move, smile, fatigue and irritability will disappear.

Within 5 minutes, intensively performed movements of the hands in 5-6 days will give visible results, and holding this complex with courses will restore youth to the skin of the face, the bird's legs will disappear.

You can perform a Chinese facial massage while sitting or standing, holding your back straight, your stomach is pulled in (the correct starting position also plays a big role in achieving results).

1. We fold our hands into fists, sticking out our thumbs and resting them on top of the trestles of the ears, and bend our indexes up a bit and press them under the eyes. Now, with quick movements, quickly rub the skin from the inner corners of the eyes to the temples and from the beginning to the end of the eyebrow line. At times - below, at two - at the top, and so on 15 intense, fast movements on each side.

2. Now we will give warmth to our eyes, pressing the heated supporting parts of the palms first for 15 seconds, then for 8, then for 5. Before each application, we intensively rub these parts of the hands to a hot state.

3. The pupils describe large circles from left to right and, on the contrary, 5 times in each direction.

4. We stop looking at the far point ahead of ourselves and look for 10 seconds.

5. We fold our hands to the starting position, the thumbs are located in the area of ​​the trestle, and the folded index phalanges make intensive rubbing along the main lines of the cheekbones and cheeks from top to bottom and vice versa, passing the entire face area 5 times back and forth.

6. We heat the lower pads of the palms and rub them with the surface of the forehead from the eyebrows to the hair part along the main lines for 10-15 seconds.

7. Put the index fingers on the outer corners of the nostrils and do pressure for 10 seconds. After that, the middle phalanges of the same fingers are intensively rubbed the face area along the nose, also 10 seconds.

8. We warm the entire surface of both palms with intensive rubbing and make a movement 7 times, imitating washing, clasping cheeks, cheekbones, joining hands on the forehead, each adding heat to the palm.

9. Fold the hand into a fist and make its knuckles three times in 5 quick, scraping movements from the earlobe along the cheekbone to the middle of the chin, first on one side, then as many times on the other.

10. We warm our hands and "wash our face".

With proper performance of all techniques at the end of the session, Chinese facial massage should leave a feeling of warmth.

Stone - therapy returns youth

The surprising discrepancy between the internal age and the external condition of the skin makes women look for more and more new types of massage that can remove a couple of completely extra years from the face and body, while I want it to be inexpensive, affordable, and better on my own and at home. Stone meets all these wishes.

Stone translates as stones. Agree, stone massage sounds rough, but the stone is more interesting. The impact with special stones is based on thermal radiation, which relaxes the facial muscles and thereby relieves puffiness and expression of fatigue.

For a unique treatment of facial skin, basalt pebbles should be purchased, of course, in this case, of small size.

Before the beginning of the session, the stones are heated in hot water up to 40 -45 degrees, the temperature of which depends on the tolerance of your body.

Be sure to check if the stones are hot, for this, hold them under your chin for a couple of seconds. You should feel a pleasant warmth, but not a burning sensation.

Apply a suitable oil to the entire front area:

• lavender;

• rosemary;

• pink;

• sandalwood;

• basil.

In extreme cases, you can use olive or sunflower oil. Pre-perform 2 classic methods - stroking and rubbing, thereby preparing the skin of the face for further effects of stones.

Before the start of the manipulation put 4 stones on the forehead, cheeks and chin. We carry out facial massage on the main zones and lines indicated above, in circular movements, starting from the forehead, removing the stone lying there. After massaging along each line of the forehead 3 - 4 times, we send the stone into hot water, and in its place we put warm and proceed to study the cheekbones and cheeks, changing the stones each time.

It is advisable to have several stones in order to massage each time with warm stones, and those that have cooled down should be put on to heat. Carefully ensure that the water temperature does not rise above 45 degrees.

Stroking the face with open hot palms, which are intensively rubbed before this, finish the stone face massage from the bottom up.

Schiatsu helps relieve fatigue from the face

Japanese cosmetologists have proven that the cause of puffiness and fatigue facial expression is lactic acid, which can be derived from a point massage.

The founder of this method is considered to be Dr. Tokuiro Namikoshi, who established a relation to official medicine for Shiatsu.

After cleansing the skin with tonic and warm water, apply a very small amount of cream or vegetable oil and do stroking, relaxing all muscles.

Getting shiatsu, check how careful your nails, so as not to damage the delicate skin of the face.

The desired point will be found correctly if a slight pain is felt when clicking on it. Pressing is done for 3 seconds with 3 approaches.

1. Put the index or middle fingers in the center of the temporal region do the pressing with a twisting motion for 3 seconds, then hold only the same time and release.

2. We perform the same manipulations and only the same time on the inner tips of the eyes, the expression of which will then become brighter, with a special shine.

3. We put our hands in the cams, and with the knuckles of the index and middle fingers we press on the points in the middle of the eyebrows, for 3 seconds we increase the pressure, but just hold and move to the temples, tightly pressed to the skin.

4. Put palms one on top of the other neck and begin to rub the top down, one way or the other.

5. Having thrown back a head, and we press points in corners of lips. After 3 approaches, we do stroking from the middle of the upper lips to the lower ones, which will help to reduce the labial folds.

It is important to pay attention to the intensity of pressure; during shiatsu, slight pain will accompany the entire massage session and can be felt for the first 2 to 3 times. This is normal, as is a mild, fast passing headache from a rush of blood.

Regularly performing acupressure twice a week will restore the condition of the skin vessels of the face, which will have a rejuvenating effect.
