Buckwheat with chicken can be stewed, baked or steamed. Buckwheat sorted out and washed in several waters. Chicken is cut in portions. Vegetables are peeled and chopped. First, chicken is laid in the device's capacity and fried until golden brown. Then add vegetables and continue to cook, stirring. Washed cereal is added to meat with vegetables and poured with boiled water so that the liquid completely covers it. The lid of the device is lowered and cooked in the "porridge" or "rice" mode.

Chicken can be steamed. To do this, prepare the prepared cereal in the bowl of the device and fill it with filtered water. Chicken is cut in portions, seasoned with spices and salt. Leave for a while so that the meat is marinated. Then it is laid out in a double boiler and installed in a bowl. The dish is cooked in a steaming mode.

Recipe 1. Buckwheat with chicken in a slow cooker

Ingredients

  • buckwheat - a glass;

  • table salt;

  • chicken breast - 300 g;

  • filtered water - 2.5 cups;

Cooking method

1. Wash the chicken breast, cut the skin and cut the meat into small pieces. Pour a little oil into the device's capacity and put the chicken in it. We select the “frying” mode on the panel and cook the meat without covering it for about 10 minutes. Constantly mix the chicken until it is browned.

2. We clean the carrots, wash and large three. Remove the husk from the onion and chop it with thin feathers. Add vegetables to the chicken, mix and continue to fry, stirring, for another ten minutes. If necessary, add oil.

Ingredients

  • two glasses of buckwheat;

  • 80 ml of sunflower oil;

  • two bow heads;

  • ground black pepper;

  • large carrot;

  • salt;

  • four cloves of garlic;

  • four glasses of filtered water;

  • 400 g chicken;

  • large pod of bell pepper;

  • 300 g of tomatoes.

Cooking method

1. Peel and cut the onions into small cubes. Peel the garlic cloves and chop finely. If you like garlic, you can take it more.

2. Peel the carrots from the peel and chop it with straws. Run the device in frying mode. Pour the sunflower oil into the bowl and put chopped vegetables and garlic in it. Fry, stirring constantly, for about five minutes.

3. Chicken fillet, wash and cut into small pieces. Put the meat in a container with vegetables and continue cooking, without changing the regime and do not forget to stir until the chicken meat turns white.

4. Free the bell peppers from the tail and clean from the seeds. Cut the vegetable into small pieces. Rinse tomatoes, wipe and cut into slices. Put pepper and tomatoes to the chicken. Stir fry for about five minutes.

5. Buckwheat and rinse. Transfer it to the bowl of the device, season with salt and spices. Fill the contents with water and mix well. Run the "pilaf" function for an hour. Lower the lid and cook buckwheat with chicken in a slow cooker until the end of the program. Dip the dish in the heating mode for about ten minutes and arrange on plates. Ingredients

  • buckwheat;

  • purified water;

  • chicken's meat;

  • onion;

  • fresh mushrooms;

  • sunflower oil;

Cooking method

Ingredients

  • chicken legs - 750 g;

  • drinking water - 320 ml;

  • onions - 200 g;

  • lean oil - 100 ml;

  • carrots - 100 g;

  • salt;

  • fresh tomatoes - 300 g;

  • curry - three pinches;

  • 320 g of buckwheat.

Cooking method

1. Chop the chicken portionwise and rinse under running water. Cut off the skin and excess fat. Dry the meat with napkins and rub it with salt and curry. Leave the chicken to marinate for half an hour.

2. Remove the peel from the carrot, wash it and cut it into thin longitudinal slices, half a centimeter thick. Then we put them in a pile and shred straws.

3. Peel the onion and cut into a quarter rings. Rinse the tomatoes, wipe, cut the stem and cut into slices, half a centimeter thick.

4. We sort out buckwheat from garbage and wash it by changing the water several times.

5. Pour vegetable oil into the device’s capacity and start the “frying” program. We spread the chicken in hot oil, fry for ten minutes on one side, then turn over and fry the same amount of time on the other side.

6. Add chopped vegetables, distributing them between pieces of meat. Close the lid and cook for about five minutes. Cut the tomatoes into slices and add to the chicken. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, another five minutes.

7. Pour the prepared buckwheat into the container and fill it with water so that the liquid level is two centimeters above the contents. Slightly salt, lower the lid and cook in rice mode for an hour. Mix the finished buckwheat with chicken and in the slow cooker for several more minutes.

Recipe 5. Dietary buckwheat with chicken in a slow cooker for a couple

Ingredients

  • chilled chicken breast;

  • soy sauce;

  • buckwheat;

  • spice;

  • boiled water;

  • table salt.

Cooking method

1. We sort and wash buckwheat under a stream of water. We put buckwheat in the device's capacity and fill it with the necessary amount of boiled water. Salt and mix.

2. Free the chicken breast from the skin and bone. We rinse and dry with napkins. We spread the meat in a deep bowl, lightly salt, season with a mixture of peppers and pour 50 ml of soy sauce. Distribute the marinade evenly throughout the breast and leave to marinate for ten minutes.

Buckwheat with chicken in a slow cooker - tips and tricks

  • The dish will turn out juicy and tender if you add tomato or sour cream sauce to it.

  • If you prefer spicy dishes, add chili sauce or curry to the chicken marinade.

  • Mandatory vegetables for this dish are onions and carrots, but you can experiment by adding whatever you like.

  • The dish is cooked in a stew mode, but if you pre-fry vegetables and meat, you can use the "porridge" mode.
