At first glance, this phrase from the wonderful Soviet film "To Marry a Captain" may seem like incomprehensible nonsense. But if you think about it, then it is a deep truth. A husband is often not the ultimate dream of a woman. She in her dreams, or in her past, sees a completely different type, the fate with which fate did not give her to combine life. Let us leave dreams, which, as a rule, are inspired by watching Hollywood films and see what types have been encountered by many women in their past, even before some lucky man offered them a hand, a heart, and everything he owns.
The one who loved you, but you were absolutely indifferent. Constant calls, deeply interested in questions about how was the day, the desire to be together all the time, even where it seems unthinkable: "You need to see a doctor? Can I go with you? I will just sit in the corridor." If it's a birthday, then he congratulates the first, if the morning sms, then definitely from him. Even if you don’t show the slightest interest in him, he is stupidly sure that everything is fine with you. After all, he loves you, which means that you will certainly be together. He tolerates any of your moods, forgives insults, is ready to wait endlessly. In a word, he accepts you any, and you depending on ..., say, the weather.
The one whom you loved, and he allowed you to love yourself. He called and came only when he wanted. Sometimes in an unacceptable condition: “We sat here with friends. And then I thought: I’ll rip to you. Why?”. In the first place there was always anything, but not you: work, friends, football, a meeting of house residents. And you were ready to wait for his call every minute. Did not call? Ok, I'll call myself. All right, he says, come. And you go to it at any time of the day to the other end of the city, run, ring the bell. He opens the door with a laziness, sleeps with you, and then you waste your memories until the next meeting. You accept him by anyone, and he accepts you, depending on your mood or free time.
The one with whom you just slept. No commitment, no one raises the topic of what is happening and the future. You even know that his wife. So what? Everything is good: easy communication, non-binding quiet sex, infrequent, but pleasant meetings. Both met and fled. Without regrets and even without special memories.
Just friend. The one who understood you, perceived anyone, sympathized, tried to dilute your mood with a cool joke. He told funny things about himself, about his personal life, about the search for a woman, about love and sexual successes and failures. He could always call, come, cry. He understood everything and wanted nothing in return. And you were happy: not a friend, not a man.
