Today we have a casual but very tender version of meat in gravy with ketchup. The ingredients are the most affordable, and the cooking process is not at all complicated. Ideal for pasta and rice,

Ingredients for making gravy with meat and ketchup:

  • Pork - 300 g;
  • Tomatoes - 2 pcs.;
  • Onions - 1 medium onion;
  • Ketchup - 2 tbsp. l .;
  • Refined vegetable oil - 2-3 tbsp. L .;
  • Salt, black pepper - to taste.

Cooking:

Prepare the meat - rinse and dry with a paper towel. Cut into identical pieces, cut the film, and do not touch the particles of fat - so the gravy will be tastier.

We cut the tomatoes at the warp and blanch for 1 minute. Dip in ice water and easily remove the skin.

Heat the pan thoroughly and add oil. Spread the meat in it and fry in parts so that the pieces do not touch. The liquid should evaporate completely and a beautiful crust should appear.

Pour the chopped tomatoes and onions into the pan and cook another 7 minutes until the onions soften.

Pour in ketchup and mix.

Stew, lid for 20-30 minutes.

If you see that the liquid has evaporated completely, I’m still a little damp - pour some boiling water. The amount of water directly depends on how thick the gravy you want. The more water - the less thick the gravy will be.
